  17. By 5Pm EST tomorrow, the tomahawk site will have not only ftp access to 
  18. the LightWave FTP site it will also have fsp service enabled. To those 
  19. using fsp they will know this is a slower, but much more efficent way to 
  20. get files. (not very heavy on the system load.)

  22. Mosaic! That's right for those who use mosaic try this out:

  26. I have an open space in the beginning that I will put the Toaster Logo on 
  27. and if a user clicks on it, an Mpeg will be played. What will this be an 
  28. Mpeg of ? You tell me. I will put a directory in the ftp pub dir called
  29. mpeg, this is for uploading of animations you create (for mosaic please 
  30. convert them to mpeg) and I will select one of the bunch each month and 
  31. put it as the anim that is viewed when the toaster logo is clicked. A 
  32. small text underneath that says "Click to see what you're missing if you
  33. own a Mac or PC!" With this Mosaic server please feel free to mail me 
  34. with suggections about how to configure it. I welcome Allen and others to 
  35. forward documents and press notes or things of importance that they would 
  36. like to see available on a Mosaic server.

  38. Suggestions for the Ftp server are always welcome as well. And as always 
  39. this is a no charge service, I also ask that no uploads of images/maps 
  40. that require royalties. Naturally no pirate or copyrighted software is to 
  41. be uploaded. Demos and shareware utils are always welcome.

  44. The site has been getting about 150-250 hits a day! keep the 
  45. objects/scripts/utils/scenes coming ! Thanks to all those who have 
  46. contributed so far. this site is user supported. (I sound like PBS heh.)
